Women with disabilities in Asia experience discrimination in every part of their lives: no education, no jobs and no marriage prospects. Stigmatized and often hidden away from the community by their families, disabled women have until now had no means of telling their stories.
The Network of South Asian Women with Disabilities (NSAWWD) is a unique initiative to give women with disabilities a voice, providing them with a platform where they can share their views, discuss the issues that affect them and join together to fight for change.
